My cat has always been obsessed with water and loves playing in it, so she was constantly hanging around the bathroom sink. A friend recommended the DownyPaws cordless water fountain, so I gave it a try. My cat took to it right away and enjoys both drinking from it and splashing around in it. Now she's much less interested in the sink, which has been a nice change.
I also like that it's cordless, so I don't have to worry about her chewing on a power cord. The motion sensor only turns the water on when she gets close, which helps the battery last a long time between charges. I've also noticed that she drinks more water from the fountain than she ever did from a regular bowl. The filtered water stays fresh, and it's easy to keep clean. So far, it's worked really well for us.
